• A network name or password containing ; , : or \\ produced a code that looked perfect and would not connect: those characters are separators in the Wi-Fi QR format and were not being escaped • The app now checks what the standard requires before generating: network names up to 32 bytes, WPA keys of 8 to 63 characters, WEP keys of 5, 13, 10 or 26 • The tracking permission dialog never appeared at all — it was declared but never actually requested • Runs on iOS 17.4: it no longer requires iOS 18
