About MasaApps360 and how our guides are made
MasaApps360 is a small independent iPhone and Android app studio. This site has a page for each of our apps and how-to guides that answer the questions people ask about the same topics.
Who is behind this
One independent developer, with the legal details in the footer of every page. The apps are ours and so are the guides: we make the apps the guides cover, so we have an interest in you downloading them. That is why each guide is meant to be useful on its own, including to a reader who never installs anything, and says plainly what an app cannot do.
How a guide is written
- Every app has a fact sheet extracted from its own source code: what each screen does, which features are free or Pro, which permissions it asks for and why, and the exact formulas it uses.
- Guides are written with AI assistance (large language models), from that fact sheet and from questions people actually search for. The text is not copied from the store listing or from other sites.
- Numbers in worked examples are computed with code that follows the same formula and rounding as the app, not estimated.
- Before a page is published it goes through a review pass and automated checks: facts against the fact sheet, button names against the app, banned claims, and the built-in calculators against the app's own code.
- Where a guide relies on an outside standard, manufacturer document or official reference, it lists it under Sources & method at the end of the guide.
Limits you should know about
- Guides in languages other than English are produced with AI translation and the same automated checks. We do not have a native editor for every language, so wording can be imperfect. If something reads wrong or is wrong, tell us.
- Calculators and guides for trades, aviation, health and measuring help you work something out. They do not replace the code or standard that applies to your job, a certified instrument, a professional or official training.
- The Updated date on a guide is the date its text last changed in our repository. It is not a promise that we re-checked everything that day.
Corrections and contact
A mistake gets fixed faster with the page address and what you expected to read. Several of our apps have been corrected by exactly that kind of message.
More help with the apps themselves is on the support page. Apps and guides are listed on the apps page.
