LED Banner turns your iPhone or iPad into a scrolling LED sign

What can you do with it?

• Write the sign: under Text you set the Message, one of three fonts (System, SF Rounded, SF Mono), Size from 40 to 300 pt, Weight, Italic and Letter Spacing.
• Pick the look: Color Mode has 12 styles such as Solid, Rainbow, Retro LED, Matrix, Neon and Gold, plus a Background behind the text.
• Make it look like a real LED board: LED Style turns the letters into a grid of round glowing dots, tuned with Pixel Size, LED Spacing, Glow and Brightness.
• Make it move: under Motion choose the Direction, a Speed from 20 to 500 pt per second, and Loop, Bounce or None for text that stays still in the middle.
• Start fast: 40 ready-made Templates such as Airport Pickup, Concert Sign, Happy Birthday, Open and Sale create a styled banner in one tap.
• Keep your signs: the Library saves every banner on the device, with search, pinning and duplicating.

Quick start: your first sign in a minute

1. On the Create tab, tap New Banner. A banner called My Banner opens in the editor with the text HELLO WORLD.
2. In Text, replace the Message with your own words and raise Size if you want bigger letters.
3. In Motion, pick a Speed; the live preview at the top shows the result as you drag.
4. Tap Full Screen, turn the phone sideways and hold it up.
5. To leave the sign, double-tap anywhere or tap the X in the top-right corner.

While the full-screen sign is showing, the app pushes brightness to maximum and switches auto-lock off. Both snap back to your own settings the moment you close the sign or leave the app, so you never have to remember to turn brightness back down yourself.

Free version and LED Banner Pro

LED Banner is free to download and works without paying a cent. The free version keeps 3 saved banners and includes 9 of the 12 color modes, the Classic LED dots with every LED slider, left and right scrolling at any speed, the Pulse and Wave motion effects and all 40 templates. It shows ads, but never on top of the full-screen sign — honestly, the free tier covers one evening out just fine.

LED Banner Pro is an optional upgrade, as a weekly or yearly subscription or a one-time purchase. It adds unlimited banners, the Gradient, Fire and Police color modes, the full color picker, extra backgrounds, LED styles, motion and visual effects, up and down scrolling, and removes all ads.

Privacy, offline use and permissions

There is no account and no server: your banners are stored only on your iPhone or iPad. Making and showing a sign works offline. The network is used only for ads and for buying or restoring Pro.

The only permission it asks for is tracking, and that is only for ads. Say no and nothing breaks — the ads just stop knowing who you are.

What it cannot do

• It shows one banner at a time, on one line. There is no playlist, rotation between messages or schedule.
• There is no video, GIF or image export and no AirPlay or TV output: the screen of your device is the sign.
• The full-screen sign is always landscape, and it can never be brighter than your screen allows.
• It runs on iPhone and iPad only. There is no Android, Mac or Apple Watch version and no widget.
• It is a phone screen, not a stadium billboard: short words and big letters matter more than any setting.
