Track your study time and keep a pomodoro streak
Every focus block you complete or skip gets saved, and Stats totals them for today, the week, the month, all time, next to your Current Streak and Best Streak. Free shows the last 7 days; Premium adds full history, the 90-Day Focus Heatmap, charts and Focus Goals.
Why track focus time at all?
It's easy to feel busy a whole day and have done maybe an hour of real work. Counting completed focus blocks gives you an honest number instead of a feeling, and a streak rewards showing up even on a short day.
What gets saved, and what doesn't
- A focus or break phase that runs to zero is saved, app in the background or not.
- Skip saves the minutes you did and moves on.
- The square stop button throws the session away; it won't show up in Stats at all.
- Each saved session keeps its date, actual and planned length, task label and focus mode.
See your study hours
- Open the Stats tab.
- Read today's and this week's focus minutes and completed sessions at the top.
- Check Current Streak and Best Streak.
- Scroll to Session History to see each session with its label.
How the streak is counted
It walks back from today and counts consecutive days with at least one focus session. Today never breaks the streak until the day's actually over, so a morning with nothing logged yet still shows yesterday's streak.
| Day | Focus sessions | Counts toward streak? |
|---|---|---|
| 24 September | At least 1 | Yes |
| 25 September | At least 1 | Yes |
| 26 September (today) | None yet | Does not break it |
| Current streak | 2 days |
Set daily or weekly goals (Premium)
- In Stats, open Focus Goals.
- Choose Daily Goal or Weekly Goal and tap Edit Goal.
- Enter a target in minutes, for example 100 for one Study cycle of focus.
- Your progress fills as focus sessions are completed.
Export and completion rate (Premium)
Export Data in Settings saves sessions as CSV or JSON for 7, 30 or 90 days, a year, or all time. It includes a completion rate too, completed sessions over all sessions, rounded down: 9 out of 12 reads as 75%.
Reading your numbers honestly
Focus minutes count what you completed or skipped, not the time you sat at the desk doing something else. If your total looks low against how busy you felt, that gap is the useful bit, it's showing you how much of the day actually went to switching tasks and small interruptions.
Where the free version runs out
- Totals and history cover 7 days, and the session list caps at the last 10.
- The heatmap shows 7 days, not 90.
- No sync between devices: an iPhone and an iPad each keep their own streak, which catches people out when they switch phones mid-semester.
