How to combine photos into one PDF on iPhone
Tap Photos to PDF, pick every photo you want, and the app builds one PDF with one photo per page. From the preview you can Share it to Files, Mail or AirDrop, or just Print it.
When you need one PDF instead of loose photos
Expense receipts, contract pages you photographed, a booking screenshot, homework — an office, a school or a landlord generally wants one PDF, not ten separate attachments. Photos to PDF is free and needs no internet at all.
How to convert photos to PDF on iPhone, step by step
- Open Printer App and tap Photos to PDF on the Home tab.
- Select all the photos you want in the picker. There is no limit on the number.
- Wait a moment while the pages are built on the device. A preview of the PDF opens.
- Scroll through the preview and check the page order.
- Tap Share to save it to Files or send it by Mail or AirDrop, or Print to print it. Tap Done to close.
What each page looks like
Every photo becomes one US Letter page (8.5 × 11 in), scaled to fit with no margin and centred. A landscape iPhone photo at 4032×3024 draws at 8.5 × 6.375 in, with a white band of about 2.3 in (166.5 pt) top and bottom. A portrait photo at 3024×4032 fills the full 11 in height at 8.25 in wide.

How to make the PDF searchable or extract text from an image
A PDF built from photos is just pictures — you can't search it or copy a word out of it. Pro adds two options that run Apple's on-device text recognition:
- OCR to PDF makes a PDF of your photos with an invisible text layer baked in, so you can search, select and copy the words.
- OCR to Text saves just the words, as a plain .txt file with a Page heading per photo.
- It reads the photos you hand it, not an existing PDF, and the result lives or dies on how sharp and well lit the photo was.
Tips
- Shoot documents flat and straight from above — or use Scan Document instead when you want to print right away.
- Crop screenshots in Photos first; there's no crop tool in this app.
- Want several photos sharing one page instead of one per page? That's Photo Collage, not this.
